WhoFi Hardware Compatibility

Are you a library about to upgrade your hardware and want to know how to continue using WhoF’s WiFi Analytics producti?

The WhoFi WiFi Analytics product is a software-based WiFi analytics solution. It is designed and built to work on almost all wireless network equipment while maintaining user privacy. We do this by using a combination of downloadable software agents and router plugins to ensure network compatibility. The WhoFi software is the only analytics solution that provides accurate insights for everything from PLS reporting to helping libraries make data-influenced decisions. The insights available go beyond the function of wireless network equipment. One is not meant to replace the other.

WhoFi partners with public libraries across the country, providing technology to articulate the positive impact they have on communities and relieve the burden of data tracking. Our library partners use these insights to guide data influenced decisions for things like strategic planning, day to day operations, advocacy communications, and programming enhancements, all while maintaining patron privacy.

Considering upgrading your hardware? Now would be a good time. The IMLS is distributing $30 milling in funding to libraries across the U.S. as part of the CARES Act in response to the impact of COVID-19. States will be able to use the funds to expand digital network access, purchase internet accessible devices, and provide technical support services to citizens to address digital inclusion efforts.
