Integrating WhoFi’s Community Calendar with Wowbrary helps you effortlessly share upcoming events, ensuring patrons stay informed through engaging updates. Follow these simple steps to set up the integration.

Steps for WhoFi Integration

  1. Contact WhoFi Support
    1. Email support@whofi.com indicating your interest in integrating with Wowbrary.
    2. The support team will enable RSS/JSON access for you internally.
  2. Access Your WhoFi Calendar URL
    1. Log in to your WhoFi account.
    2. Navigate to the “Setup” menu on the left and select “Advanced.”
    3. Under the “Community Calendar” section, click “Integration.”
    4. Copy the “Calendar Full URL.”

* Important: Remove the “/calendar/full” portion of the URL. Your final URL should look like this: https://library-us.whofi.com/.

Steps for Wowbrary Integration

  1. Log in to Wowbrary. 
  2. From the Overview, click on the “Add News & Reviews” tab. 
  3. Select “Quick News Items”.
  4. Use the checkbox filters to show only Events.
  5. Check the box next to the “Upcoming Events” quick news item to enable it. 
  6. Fill in the required fields with your calendar details. Remember to remove calendar/full from the end of your URL. 
  7. Click “Save and Edit” to review your entry. 
  8. After reviewing, click “Save and Preview”. 
  9. A preview of the quick news item will be displayed. 
  10. Now your upcoming programs will appear in your weekly newsletter.
